Scuba diving skills also have been introduced in it, allowing the Sims to enjoy their underwater diving for catching fish, finding sunken treasures, explore caves and to face sharks. There have been introduced several new features in this expansion pack of which one of them being the option provided to the Si ms for owning houseboats, which could be docked or anchored easily at any of the unoccupied port or in the ocean. The developer of this expansion pack is EA Maxis, while its publisher is Electronic Arts. It is to be played in the single player mode and is of the life simulation genre. It was on 25th June 2013 that it got released in the United States, in Australia on 27th June 2013 and in Europe on 28th June 2013. Presently, this expansion edition is available for downloading on both OS X and Windows.
